Cox & Rawle Specialist URFE Rig #2/0

Cox & Rawle Specialist URFE Rig is a well proven configuration, simply constructed and used extensively in Europe to present bait close to the seabed. This rig has been tied with a relatively short fluorocarbon hook length to avoid tangling using a single SCR24 Crab hook 2/0.

It allows the hook to trail behind the main line, which is anchored at the bottom, and is particularly effective in areas with strong tidal movement or for species like Flatfish, Sole, Bass, and even Tope.

• The rig is anchored at the seabed by a lead and the baited hooks trail behind, allowing for a natural presentation.
• It keeps the bait near the seabed, making it ideal for species that feed low to the ground.
• The URFE Bar itself is a pre-made section that uses swivels to prevent the snoods (lines with hooks) from tangling with the main line or the weight 

• Anti-tangle: The URFE Bar is designed to keep the rig from tangling, especially in strong currents.

1. Attach the URFE Bar: Connect the URFE Bar to your main fishing line
2. Attach the weight: Connect your lead weight to the bottom swivel on the URFE Bar
3. Attach the snoods: Tie your hook lengths (snoods) to the central swivel on the URFE Bar. Some pre-made versions have swivels already attached.
4. Bait the hooks: Bait the hooks and cast the rig. The swivels on the URFE Bar will ensure the hooks trail behind the lead and stay tangle-free
