The Partridge Competition Barbless D5AY Streamer Hook is 1X Heavy Wire, 3X Long Shank - needle point for sharpness with a forged sproat bend for added strength featuring Partridge's Surehold beaked-point to improve hook ups.  Perfect hook for deep still water and reservoir streamers where extra strength is required.

This is another new pattern responding to requests from competition fly tyers for new set of classics, drawing on our 90 years of hook making experience, suitable for tying competition Wets, Nymphs and Emergers. This hook features beaked extra-long point to enhance hook setting to give a strategic advantage when fishing in competitions.  The range has been produced in bronze to give both a classic look and a stealthy approach to fishing them. The D5AY pattern is made on high-carbon heavy wire to provide confidence when fishing deep stillwaters and reservoirs
